Supremely, and that wasn't a pun, it was a precisely designated statement of blame. But getting to (literally) climb his (yes, sigh, still) favorite sorcerer like a tree (while stormily grumbling the whole way) was definitely helping to make up -- and up and up and up and UP -- for it.
In fact, it seemed the most strategic course would be to stop halfway, and plant himself against the trunk right there at that perfectly formed crotch.
And then he'd have his sequoia-esque Stephen by the root.

I'm so glad you like this little silliness. You know there is fic I want to write for you, but I got stuck, and I think I have a better idea where it's going now, but also have other commitments now, and I don't know when I will get to return to that idea. I can't really call it a formal IOU, but hopefully there will be some future gift-angst.
And meanwhile... yeah. My kind of cracky nonsense. <3 <3
T'Challa/Namor - gone catfishin'

"I didn't catfish you," Namor insists.
T'Challa narrows his eyes. "You absolutely did."
"I did not. A catfish...it's when you use someone else's photograph and you pretend to be someone else. It's definitely me in all the photos. I haven't lied once." Namor pauses to consider that statement. "I may have lied when I said you looked good in that plaid shirt in your third photograph—"
"Hey," T'Challa interrupts, without heat. "You definitely catfished me, though. Misled me dramatically."
Namor is the one narrowing his eyes now. "Explain your working, airbreather."
"Your photographs led me to believe you were allergic to shirts." T'Challa reaches forward and plucks at the t-shirt Namor was wearing to their date; just the brief heat of T'Challa's strong fingers makes Namor shudder. Oh, this date is definitely going well. "See? False representation. I turned up on this date expecting to see way more skin."
Namor stares at him. "If you're so bothered, there's a solution to that." He raises an eyebrow. "Unless you're the kind of prince who's afraid to get his hands dirty."
"Oh, I'm not averse to a little hard labor," T'Challa purrs, reaching for the hem of the t-shirt. The air is cool on Namor's skin, but Namor feels hot anyway, and it might have something to do with T'Challa's broad shoulders and wide, generous mouth. But then T'Challa pauses, after having barely revealed half of Namor's set of killer abs, and Namor has to fight hard not to hiss in disappointment. The way T'Challa's hungrily looking at his muscles does a little to salve his dismay that T'Challa's stopped stripping him. "Did I look that bad in that shirt?"
Namor grins at T'Challa in as predatory a manner as he can muster. "Try wearing it to our next date and see how fast I rip it from you."
T'Challa shivers visibly at how confidently Namor says next date.
"After I'm done with this date," T'Challa says, his voice rough in a way that Namor's taking as a compliment as he resumes removing the shirt, "that might not be a reasonable gauge."
"Promises, promises," Namor says, obligingly lifting his arms to help T'Challa in this important stripping quest. T'Challa throws the shirt into the corner with a smirk and moves as if he's going to lean back in his chair. Namor levels his best imperious glare at him. "Who said you could stop at the shirt?"
"Bossy," T'Challa complains, but reaches for Namor's pants anyway.

My favorite painting is probably Shield of Achilles by Cy Twombly. The actual thing is about six feet tall and done in these brilliant, garish oil crayons. I love how emotional Twombly's paintings can be. Also sometimes they got dicks in them.

The playlist has a flow and arcs, because that's how I make my playlists. (I had an entire week where I was worrying, because how am I supposed to make an Illuminati playlist when I've never even read the comics???? But I beat it back.) Because of this, you should definitely listen to it without shuffle. The story goes more or less like so: Steve joins the Illuminati, gets his memories stolen, everyone is sad but also ruling the world, Steve regains his memories, and then the world ends. Fun! If you're interested in the reason why I added any of the songs, you can definitely ask and I will probably write a longer essay than I do for my actual essay class. I put so much thought into this. Hope you enjoy!!
