Comics Steve/Tony: : 616! Ults! 1872! Bullet points! Multiversal collision! I love them all.
Other Fandoms/Ships/Characters: he Good Place (Eleanor/Tahani), Umbrella Academy. Clint/Nat, Clint/Bucky, Carol/Wanda, Carol/Jess. Carol in general. Clint in general. Wanda in general. Really big on both Marvel's Avengers (video game) and the concept of Civil Warrior as he exists in fandom. :P
Likes: Fun and unusual situations. Dimension hopping and time travel. Steve's time during the war. Outsider point of view. Teamfic and friendship. Soulmates, reincarnation, etc, especially in well-explored or realistic worlds. Fusions. Genderswaps; explorations of gender and sexuality. Banter. - 616: Steve is already fairly awkward at flirting with women (insert the "do friends kiss?" comic panel here). He's been trying to flirt with men (or Tony specifically!) for many years. Tony keeps missing the hint; Steve begins to think Tony is disinterested (and/or that this is their inside joke!).
- 616: Waking up in your past self's body. Perhaps TonyAI, during Secret Empire, somehow transports himself back in time to early canon. Perhaps the Civil War era assassination time bullets leave Steve stuck only a year in the past in Vol 3. Whatever suits your angst and/or crack needs.
- Ults: Steve is transported back to the past he misses so much. He hates it, and longs for home.
- Several different universe pairs of Steve and Tony (ex. Noir, 616, 1872) are actually just reincarnations of the same soul. IDK how to make this work logically but I crave it.
Dislikes: a/b/o, arranged marriage, mundane AUs, non-canonical dark!characters, completely unequal relationships, underage. I like imperfect endings, but I don't like hopeless ones; I'd prefer to be able to imagine that things could get better eventually. Fluff that's overwhelmingly nothing but sweet. Currently feeling kind of tired of Hickmanvengers.

Date: 2022-02-14 04:31 am (UTC)I do not know your taste in movies or songs but if you like lesbian movies one of my longtime faves is DEBS which is this absolutely ridiculous action/comedy movie about an all-female spy team, one of whom ends up falling in love with the Hot Supervillain, much to the disapproval of every other character in the movie. I'm not going to claim it's good but it's entertaining.
As for music, I have been listening to a lot of Brandi Carlile, who is one of those singer-songwriters kind of nebulously floating around the borders of folk, country, and Americana. Unusually -- at least as far as country singers go -- she's a lesbian, and at some point I'm going to finish this Steve/Tony Civil War playlist I'm making with her song Wherever Is Your Heart. (This would be in the happy Avengers Prime section of the playlist, not the angsty punching section.)
Also I feel a little weird reccing my own fic but as far as I can determine you have not read this one. So a while ago, I wrote Your Name On Every Wall which is (sorry!) partly set in Hickmanvengers but it's actually a fic where Steve hops backwards through his past into his past self's body and revisits basically every argument he has ever had with Tony. I can't think of any other "waking up in your past self's body" fics otherwise I would have recced those instead.
