Comics Steve/Tony:1872, Iron Man Noir (but with Steve somehow in it :) ), Avengers vol. 4 - the Heroic Age and a bit after that (up until Marvel NOW starts), Avengers Prime, Stark Dissassembled storyline (sory if I'm confusing, 616 eras confuse me)
Other Fandoms/Ships/Characters: MCU Steve/Tony, Amber Chronicles (Merle/Luke)
Likes: HEA, please, all the happy endings! :) Also, fixits (esp. Endgame and CW fixits), H/C, angst with a happy ending, presumed dead, amnesia, truth serums, cuddling for warmth, bed sharing, holidayfic, time travel, snowed in, space AUs, regency AUs,
Dislikes: sad endings, sad open endings, permanent character death, divorce, cheating, rape, permanent mutilation, a/b/o with too much dubcon, D/s, superfamily,vampires, genderswap

Date: 2020-01-19 04:51 pm (UTC)You'd be the third person during this stocking fest (at least lol) that I have recced "In Other Lands" by Sarah Rees Brennan too but I don't care, it's one of the best books I've read in the last couple of years.
"This Is How You Lose The Time War", Amal El-Mohtar, Max Gladstone = v. good. h/c, angst with a happy ending, v beautiful writing. <3
V.E. Schwab's "Vicious" and "Vengeful" are amazing, friends to enemies, I can't talk about it coherently without lots of exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Her Shades of Magic trilogy is also v. v. good.)

Date: 2020-01-20 12:02 am (UTC)And Schwab! I've read and really liked Shades of Magic, but I haven't read Vicious and Vengeful, so I'm happy to hear it's that good. That goes towards the top of the endless reading list now. It sounds awesome.
And I've wanted to try Sarah Rees Brennan forever, but she's written quite a few books, so it's great to know what's best and where to start. (I actually really liked some of her fic, back when...)
Thank you for the awesome recs! You somehow, weirdly enough, guessed my taste in books, I think :D
