Date: 2020-02-06 04:27 am (UTC)I was fortunate enough to have the server read it to me when I couldn't see so I still haven't properly read it (and I will go leave you a proper comment soon, hopefully) but the twist at the end just SLAYED ME. You are the best.
And thank you so much for all your kindness and generosity and, uh, this giant box of comics... :D

Date: 2020-02-06 05:17 am (UTC)In an amazing fit of timing, I was just getting up to get ready for a session when Cake let me know the server was doing the live readings. I had about 30 minutes free, and I got my sound system turned on just in time to hear Kiyaar read about 2/3 of the fic, which was a wildly wonderful experience!
I am glad the ending was a good one for you! That was one of those spontaneous developments as I started writing closing sentences, and realized I wanted Steve to have some kind of "exception" too.
The server stockings were so much fun and inspiration! :D
You are welcome and deserving of everything nice, and I suspect I'll send you some more comics where I have duplicates of some other runs as you start getting ready to collect those. <3
