Happy Stockings! Thank you for all you do for this fandom, all the wonderful stories and knowledge you share with us! Also, personally, for reaching out to me with such a heartfelt message back when I was still just a newbie and mentioned on the POTS server that I was nervous about asking for a beta and posting my first stevetony fic. It meant the world to me!

I'm so sorry that despite all that, I didn't have the guts to take you up on your kind offer, I didn't want to bother you with my silly little MCU fics, especially when I look up to you as a writer so much.

So I can't believe I'm saying this seven months later, but I wrote a fic for you! I'm still new to writing comics stevetony, this is only my second attempt after my Twilight fic. I did a whole bunch of research though, and somehow it ended up being my longest stevetony fic to date. I chose your Impotent Steve prompt, and Man Out of Time as the setting for the fic since you said in the server book club that it's your very favorite Captain America comic. I tried my best to craft something I thought you'd like, so I hope you'll enjoy this ❤️
