I'm also obsessed with the animations you recently started doing, it's such an exciting way to look at art! I also adored your Golden Hours over the holidays!

Thank you for doing so much for the fandom not only as a creator, but as an event organizer too! Kandi, I know we haven't spoken much, but I want to say that I love your art and fics so much! They're a lot of fun and always brighten my day. I admire how prolific you are with your writing and your creativity as well. :) I love how you draw Steve and Tony. Your art is instantly recognizable because of that and the painterly touch you add to it, and for the simpler art, I can tell right away that you drew it too (also, I love how crisp and clean your lines are).

Here are some cute animals to make you smile!
- peekaboo cockatoo
- a giraffe with a turtle (the comments people added cracked me up)
- a man and his dog watching the sunset
- a dog with his stick!

And two recipes that are easy to make, one vegetarian and one meat:
- creamy chickpea soup
- Moroccan chicken tagine (this is more labor-intensive and time-consuming, but overall, it's not hard to make even if you don't cook much which I don't)

Hello Kandisheek -- Here's a snippet of a fic for you (likely more later on) --

Steve did not look forward to a long night in the company of the Queen, even offered as much food as Steve could eat. He didn’t trust the underlying reasons for the feast. Also, he wasn’t keen on dancing. “I have my duty.” Then Steve grimaced. “I don’t have the right clothes either.” Then signed. “Never learned to dance either.”

“Arghhh. Look, let’s just get the clothes issue.”

Clint dragged Steve down the hallways of the castle until they reached Lady Jan’s apartment. “Steve needs clothes for the Celebration,” Clint declared as he pushed a reluctant Steve at her.

Jan looked up from her sewing. “I think I have something around here.”

“Great. So. Steve. I’m leaving you here with Jan.” Clint gave Jan a knowing look and then left.

“The Queen commanded me to go to the Celebration,” Steve gave as an explanation.

Jan was already pulling tunics out of one of the large chests in the room. “I can adjust as needed – you’re a big guy, Steve – but you’re going to look fabulous.”

Steve regarded suspiciously the silk and fine linen Jan was piling up on the table. “I could wear my livery –” he started.

“No,” Jan stated firmly. “You’re not doing that. Hmmm, blue would be best on you –” She held up two different blue silk tunics. “I could add some trim – gold or silver.” She opened another chest, this one filled with linen undergarments. “I’ve seen the seating plans – you’ll be seated next to Tony.”

“Lord Stark?” Steve replied. He didn’t get to see that much of his old friend these days considering that Tony was often sent abroad to defend New Avalon’s borders. He thought wistfully about the last time he’d been able to spend any significant time with Tony. Maybe he could put up with the feast if Tony was there.

“You know who I mean.” Jan pointed to a screen in the corner of the room. “Change there and put this on.” She gave him a deep blue silk tunic and playfully pushed him towards the screen.

Steve slipped out of his clothes then heard a knock on the door. “Come in,” Jan replied enthusiastically to the muffled voice on the other side of the door.

“I’m here for my Celebration clothes,” Tony replied. “Hey, Steve.”

Steve wanted to shrink behind the screen. It’s not like Tony hadn’t seen him naked before – they had gone swimming plenty of times on a hot summer day with the other members of the Queen’s Vengeance. But this felt different, as Steve felt more vulnerable in his underclothes as he was trying on a tunic that was worth more than Steve himself.

“Maybe I should come back?” Tony asked Jan.

“Nonsense. I could use another set of eyes for this. Come on, Steve.”

Steve slunk out from behind the screen. “I still could wear my captain’s livery,” he said apologetically when Jan and Tony stared at him.

Jen rushed over and shifted around the tunic. “I just need to add some trim here and there. Then it will be perfect, right, Tony?”

Tony composed his face. “You look fine, Steve. I’ll just be back later, Jan.”
