Steve’s heart soared against the weight of the badge on his chest. He was doing it. Roxxon’s hired gun, Lester, was on his knees, disarmed. There was nothing stopping Steve from facing down Fisk, calling him out. He wouldn’t be doing it alone either.

“Everyone in Timely, come on out! We can take back our government right now!” He shouted to shuttered windows, to the folks listening from behind them.

Fisk and his men were responsible for Bucky’s death, as well as Marshal Stacy’s and dozens of other well-meaning folks. They were responsible for everything wrong with this town and everyone knew it.

“Take back Timely with me!” Steve continued to call, even as the first faces emerged from doors. “Don’t be afraid to claim the streets and demand to live in a free land!”

People began gathering on porches, spilling out onto the streets. They seemed frightened, confused, but soon they’d see. They were taking back this town. Steve would shout the news from the rooftops if he had to.

Then Steve saw it. “Red Wolf?”

Two of Lester’s men had Red Wolf—who was only in this jam because Steve insisted he testify—cornered by the pig pens. The hired guns approached Red Wolf, ready to put an end to him.

“Freeze!” Steve aimed and took the shot. It was enough to give Red Wolf the opening he needed to fight back.

“I’m glad you called everyone out, Rogers…” Lester said, before Steve could turn around. “So you can say goodbye.”

Steve couldn’t catch his breath. Pain, bursting through his chest. Steve’s legs falling out from beneath him, bringing him to his knees. The blue sky grew dark.

He’d been shot?

“Nobody but you believed in that star on your chest,” Lester said, smugly.

Barely, Steve managed to force out, “To..h-hell with you.”

The world tilted and Steve face planted in the dirt.

“Probably..but you first.” Lester’s voice seemed to get fainter with each word.

Time seemed to stretch and pull around Steve like taffy. He’d been shot. He needed to get up, stop the bleeding, stop Fisk.

Steve heard Tony’s voice somewhere, but he couldn’t make out the words. He knew Tony would come. That Tony would fight in the end.

Steve tried to move, to stand up beside Tony, but his body wouldn’t listen to him.

Suddenly, he’s lifted upward. It hurts. Are they taking him to the surgeon?

The air filled with the sound of squealing. Pigs. For a brief moment Steve was weightless as he’s flung upwards. He landed on his back painfully and sunk into the soft muck. Steve’s eyes fluttered open, affording him one last hazy view of the sky before shadows close in around him.

Then he felt the teeth.

“Just so we’re clear,” Steve says. His voice is punctured with his own body tearing, vocal cords twisting in on themselves and making a mess of his diction in a ball-tightening sort of way.

“Just so we’re clear,” Tony agrees, watching Steve’s pants tear around his expanding thighs.

Let alone the way Steve is standing on his hind legs, easily balanced and cracking the knuckles of his hands, which are hairy and piercingly sharp with claws, but still definitively hands. The pads of his palms always feel so uniquely plush on Tony’s cock.

Flips a subconscious reflex buried deep to keep hundreds of Tony’s lineage alive, back before the werewolves talked and shouted at baseball on the T.V. and got upset when their favorite razor got left in a cheap hotel on an Avengers mission. Back when the sport werewolves enjoyed was hunting humans. The sound of Steve crawls inside Tony’s brain and shifts him from human. Turns Steve into the wolf and Tony into Red Riding Hood.

And Steve likes that.

Likes putting Tony in that role.

Tony watches Steve’s powerful shoulders bunch, his bulging thighs with the bobbing cock between them, as he circles and circles.

Okay, those are sad songs so here's a rec for music that makes me think of Steve/Tony in a happy way: "Agape" from the If Beale Street Could Talk OST. It's like watching the sun rise on a peaceful Sunday morning.
