Canon-divergent AUs, time travel, the multiverse, soulmate AUs, telepathy, identity porn, fix-its, pining and UST and idiots in love, aliens made them do it/fuck-or-die/sex pollen, fake dating, presumed-dead, transhumanism (does not have to be portrayed positively), exploration of canonical disabilities, sad men crying, repression, internalized shame, praise kink, banter, fic set at the time the canon was released (like, Silver Age fic set in the 60s), fighting some of those really weird villains with bizarre powers that haven't appeared seriously in comics in a while (e.g., Paste Pot Pete), truth serum, tentacles, xeno, Capwolf, AI Tony, Steve and Tony liking SF/F, hurt/comfort, angst with a happy ending, BDSM (including D/s universes), crack treated seriously, sex farce (with feelings), cuddling, the kind of genderswap where everyone is lesbians.
I have zero preferences as regards who tops, bottoms, doms, or subs, if you decide to go there.
Here are some prompts, if you'd like them. Feel free to use them, ignore them, smash them together, et cetera.
Dislikes:
Extremely graphic violence/maiming (esp. no eye injury please), mundane modern no-powers AUs, anything in the realm of kidfic or age-related kink (pregnancy, actual kidfic, daddy kink, age play) (mentoring teenage superheroes is fine, Ian Rogers is fine if he's currently an adult), piercing play, underage, cannibalism (Ultimatum is not fine), animal harm, infidelity, secondhand embarrassment. No Hickmanvengers pls. (CW is fine.)
I am totally 100% fine with Very Bad Things Happening To Steve And Tony but I would prefer them not actively trying to harm each other (accidental harm is definitely fine), although people who look like them (e.g., Hydra Steve, Skrulls) trying to harm them is fine.
Ambiguous or bittersweet endings are fine (as well as happy endings); I would prefer to not have something ending in unremittingly bleak everyone-dies darkness. (So no permanent major character death, please.)
Non-fandom related requests/anything else?:
I always enjoy pictures of dragons, cute dogs and/or wolves, as well as horses and horse-adjacent mythological creatures.
I also always enjoy book/comic/game/TV/movie recs for LGBT science fiction/fantasy. (Or LGBT history/general nonfiction.)
Video game recs of any sort would be great. For game rec purposes, I have a Mac and a Switch (and an iPhone and iPad). I like games that you don't have to have good hand-eye coordination to play, like turn-based RPGs, deckbuilders, or puzzle games. (Action games are okay if they are playable one-handed..)
I would enjoy some DW-sized (100 x 100 px) icons of comics (especially ones of amusing speech bubbles).

Comics Steve/Tony:
- 616 (anything vol 1, but especially early canon, the period of time where Steve was a commercial artist, and the Iron Man second drinking arc; Avengers volume 3; New Avengers volume 1 before the SHRA starts; Avengers volume 4; the fallout from Secret Empire; extremely current canon right now)
- Bullet Points
- Marvel Adventures: Avengers
- Ults (1610)
Other Fandoms/Ships/Characters:
Other Marvel Comics Ships and Characters:
- Ships: Carol/Jess, Carol/Wanda, Steve/Batroc, Steve/Tony/Carol, Steve/Tony/Thor, Steve/Tony/Jan, Phyla-Vell/Heather Douglas, Stephen Strange/Clea Strange. Also cool with Steve & Tony's canon relationships (yes, including Emma), and including all of Tony's evil exes (esp. Whitney). My favorite of Steve's exes is probably Bernie Rosenthal.
- Gen: Jan Van Dyne, Doreen Green, Carol Danvers, Clint Barton, Tony and/or Steve's friendship with any of the above
Star Trek: TOS:
- Kirk/Spock

Here are some prompts, if you'd like them. Feel free to use them, ignore them, smash them together, et cetera.
- Fic set after Civil Score in which probably more banter happens and sexy things ensue. Bonus points if Tony refuses to stop calling Steve Darrel.
- Look, someone needs to write the "Steve and Tony independently attend the same orgy at the 2022 Hellfire Gala" story. I am sure I am not the only person here who would be down for some Steve/Tony/Emma in some combination.
- I would like to know about Tony's D&D summer camp/
- Steve's senses got amazing after the serum and he assumes this is normal, only to find out that, like, regular people can't do what he does. So he can see bullets and all the infrared stripes on things and (sex farce version!) generally smell whether Tony jerked off last night. or when Tony has totally lied about whether he slept with his date, which he does regularly, so that everyone thinks he sleeps around way more than he actually does. That's the sex farce version. Angst version: he can very easily tell whether Tony's been drinking.
- Bodyswap. Tony: omg this is amazing. Steve: you live like this???
- Due to some kind of magic shenanigans, Steve and Tony cannot touch! But they also cannot be far apart. They have to stay in the same room and cannot touch each other at all! What a terrible time to realize you're in love with someone. Hard mode: Commander Rogers.
- Let's give Steve some impotence! Steve needs a broken dick too. Perhaps he asks Tony for, ahem. moral support. Some kind of support. Tony's very supportive.
- Orpheus & Eurydice fusion where Tony dies and Steve decides to go fetch him from the afterlife.
- Give Tony antidepressants.
- Something set after Captain America: Dead Men Running. Just fuck me up.
- I'm just gonna keep requesting "anything about baseball" every year.

Date: 2024-02-05 12:49 am (UTC)I made you a photo/art edit of commercial artist Steve’s desk, circa 1982. There's a bigger image and some detail shots on my tumblr. (They were out of sesame bagels, so Steve had to settle for an everything.) It’s partially inspired by “The Devil in Us All.”

Date: 2024-03-02 07:57 pm (UTC)My first thought was OH NO DON'T DRINK YOUR PAINT WATER, STEVE, but I'm just gonna hope he can tell. I love the old paperback Tolkien novel in the corner; I would definitely believe that was available in 1982. I went and looked at the details and now I'm really curious about the letter in Steve's mail pile, which I am presuming came addressed to him at the Mansion in the above envelope.
Also, I mean, of course I love Steve's sketchbook of Tony and I think my favorite part is that he's done the eyes first in the drawing on the left. Priorities!
Anyway, thank you again! This is really lovely! Thank you so much for doing all these stocking fills! (I had a great time looking through them in the screened stockings while I was leaving comments before reveals and knowing that everyone else was going to love these too.)

Date: 2024-03-02 08:05 pm (UTC)I will leave you a proper comment on the fic in a bit, but it was lovely and I'm very happy you found "break Steve's dick" inspiring because I feel like there is a definite lack of that in the fandom and it would be an interesting thing to explore, especially because Steve's dick is usually better than everyone else's, so... what if not? :D

Date: 2024-02-28 09:53 pm (UTC)Steve’s bent over Tony’s desk, pants around his ankles. Honestly, he’s not really sure how he ended up like this, but he isn’t complaining. Not when Tony’s fingers are doing such delightful things to his ass.
“Doing alright there, Steve?” Tony asks, as if Steve’s full-body shudders aren’t proof enough that everything is definitely, a hundred percent, splendid.
“Yeah,” Steve moans, “keep going.”
God, but Tony’s fingers are wicked. Long and strong, with enough calluses and scars that they drag against his rim every time he fucks them in and out of Steve. With every thrust, he presses against Steve’s prostate firmly, caressing it over and over with maddeningly sure aim. Steve might be drooling. He’s long past trying to hold himself up, his arms too weak to do anything but lie uselessly at his sides, his chest and head resting against the cool wood.
He thinks he might be able to come, after all.
He’s been having trouble, is the thing. Trouble getting hard. Trouble, ah, finishing. It’s something about the serum, must be. It comes (ha) in waves. The last time it lasted this long was before the ice, and, well. He has needs. He decided to try to do something about it this time. Surely in the newfangled future they had found a way to cure this?
Turns out, kind of. But the serum doesn’t like Viagra. It just gives Steve a headache.
Hence the getting bent over Tony’s desk.
It’s maybe not exactly the way that Steve envisioned his conversation with Tony going, but he doesn’t regret it one bit. Stammering through his explanation, then listening to Tony hum and stroke his mustache and brainstorm possible ways to get him off, and finally admitting he hasn’t tried ass play before. To which Tony asked if he wanted to try. Now.
Steve very much wanted to try. He’s only fantasized about this since the first time he ever met Tony. No big deal. And now that he knows Tony is Iron Man, there are no secrets between them anymore.
When they’re done with this, Steve will ask Tony out.
But first, he’s going to get his prostate milked until he comes his brains out.

Date: 2024-03-02 08:17 pm (UTC)Prostate milking as a workaround for Steve not being able to get it up is not a thing that occurred to me so I am glad I turned this prompt loose so it could occur to you. I am very curious about how the rest of their relationship goes in this particular universe goes, since they don't seem to have been together-together, and "hey Tony do you think you could get me off, just wondering" seems like a very awkward conversation to have with someone you've never been with, but I have faith in Steve and Tony's ability to just trip and fall into extremely awkward conversations. It's great! I would read way way more of this if you ever were inclined. :D
Also, Steve planning to ask Tony out AFTER doing this is a move that is so extremely them and I love it.
Thank you again! <3

Date: 2024-02-29 05:04 am (UTC)For LGBT recs, I'm not sure if you're okay with violence in a novel or permanent major character death in a TV show, so I'll refrain from reccing the two things I had in mind unless you say it's okay. Neither comes as a nasty surprise because it's baked into the premise or it's explained as a thing that will happen at the start; the novel is a sci-fi story about fights to the death in a battle arena, and the show is a historical fiction that ends in the '80s...which...well. You know. But both are about love, humanity, and hope preserving!
Here are some cute doggies!
- tiny baby meets a turtle and duck friend
- sometimes wolves are beautiful like this...
- and other times they're derpy like this. I feel like this is a relatable photo for everyone who isn't particularly photogenic and doesn't know what to do with their smile/mouth. And this guy's name is LOKI
- I wish I could be this dog having a blast

Date: 2024-03-02 08:24 pm (UTC)I appreciate the CUTE DOGGIES.
And, yes, I will absolutely take recs for both of those things -- most of my DNWs apply to characters I'm already attached to in fandom, you know? So I'm fine with bad things happening in books/TV etc. I'm wondering if the show is Fellow Travelers, which I have heard many good things about but have not watched, but I don't know if it ends in the 80s. No idea what the story is, so I'm very curious now.

Date: 2024-03-04 06:48 am (UTC)As for the book rec, Chain-Gang All-Stars by Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah is my favoriteeeeee book from last year. There are multiple POVs, but mainly it follows two Black women who are in love with each other and are the stars of a death battle entertainment program created by the prison industry in a near-future U.S. The action sequences are some of the best I've seen written, and it's a searing, gripping novel that stayed with me long after I finished it.

Date: 2024-02-29 10:52 pm (UTC)About LGBT nonfiction, there's this documentary: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6290252/?ref_=tt_mv_close that's available on Kanopy iirc in the US about one of Argentina's most important queer activists. It also works as an explainar of that era of the Argentinian LGBT movements. (The title of the movie includes the F-word, as a heads up)
And then - game rec: Pentiment which is coming on Switch around these days. It's a game about being an artist in a medieval German village, about cultural syncretism, Roman vestiges, Pagan influences, etc. It's a really good adventure game, with memorable characters.

Date: 2024-03-02 09:49 pm (UTC)I am definitely putting that documentary on my to-watch list; it sounds really neat and I don't know anything about the history of the LGBT movement in Argentina and I probably should.
I have not yet played Pentiment but it is definitely on my to-play list now that it has/will have a Switch version.

Date: 2024-03-01 01:34 am (UTC)I don't have anything fandom for you but a fun game I've been really loving is Travelers Rest. It's a tavern management game that's in early access. You brew beer, rent rooms, cook food, hire staff. It's pretty simple so far but it's been really entertaining me.
And I semi-recently read This Poison Heart by Kalynn Bayron. It's a sapphic fantasy with a black protagonist that has zero queer or black trauma in it. It's just a black queer girl doing awesome things and unraveling a dark family secret in a small town when she finds herself the inheritor of an alchemy/potion shop. *queue dramatic music*

Date: 2024-03-01 02:24 am (UTC)If you feel in the mood for it, I basically recommended the Radiant Emperor duology (She Who Became the Sun/He Who Drowned the World) as "everyone's a problematic queer in historical fantasy China" hahah :D
I am sorry I do not have a baseball fanwork for you, but in honor of Ohtani suddenly announcing his marriage, please imagine Steve suddenly announcing on Instagram that he is married and to please respect his privacy during this time and he's looking forward to this baseball season :)
I wonder who the lucky partner is, hmm?no subject
Date: 2024-03-02 10:05 pm (UTC)I think I own the first one of those books but did not read it yet; I will for sure have to move it up the TBR pile because I know everyone says it is great.
I can definitely imagine Steve in a baseball AU; it probably helps that my favorite current pitcher is named (Tyler) Rogers. :D (His identical twin Taylor is ALSO a pitcher and also on the Giants but they are very, very different kinds of pitchers, lol.)
