Hmmm, ok so not in the sense that the movie is told via Howl's perspective directly (it's very much still in Sophie's limited perspective as the movie unfolds) but more in terms of ~vibes~. Like, the over-the-top drama of Howl really seeps through the movie. Whereas the book is written in Sophie's pov and you get her inner monologue and it's a lot more, um, no-nonsense for that? Kinda? Read the book and tell me if that makes sense haha XD It is a great fun series so again I do recommend.
Well's Books of the Raksura series basically reads like lots-of-intricate-world-building polyamorous wingfic with a semi-outsider pov haha so it's a very different vibe than her Murderbot series in a lot of ways, I think? A well written romp if you like that romance fantasy vibe. I haven't read anything else outsider of that and Murderbot yet, but I know she's got a couple of other shorter series and some standalones I think? Thanks for the reminder to request 'em!
Haha, there's no such thing as a late reply when it comes to these - hope that you enjoy some new books in the next few months <3
Re: but are you sure you can't keep readin Discworld? (lol)
