-A Savage Land Dino/alien creature has imprinted on Steve or Tony as it’s mate, and is jealously guarding one from the other. How serious or comical the situation is depends entirely on the size and shape of the creature, and if the imprinted one is currently injured and needs some medical attention — play it whichever way you like.
-Pre-Identity reveal: An Avenger (not Steve or Tony) finds a package with the delivery label damaged and unreadable, but the package seems to have Captain America symbology on it… so they give Steve the package while Steve is in a common area with a number of other Avengers in attendance. Steve says he wasn’t expecting anything. Iron Man instantly suggests caution, Steve has a lot of enemies, and he volunteers to take the package and have it scanned to make sure it’s safe. Steve appreciates Iron Man’s vigilance but the package is small and what could be safer than opening here with the other Avengers in attendance?
He opens the package and it’s an XL Captain America themed dildo, with an invoice indicating the intended recipient was Tony Stark.
-Steve in medieval plate armor, embodying all of Tony’s fantasies at once. Perhaps Jan takes Tony to Medieval Times (the dinner show) because she knows he’ll get a kick out of it and unbeknownst to either of them, Steve is substituting for one of the knights, because apparently Steve has canonical jousting experience(?!).
-Steve and Tony start sharing dreams.
-Why does the person in this grainy sex video look so much like Tony?

Date: 2023-03-01 12:40 am (UTC)You definitely did not ask for this story and I definitely did not finish this story but I started brainstorming sex farces that would only happen to superheroes and the one I seem to have latched onto was "Oh no! The mind-control collar won't come off!"
So here's the first bit of this and there's currently 46,000 more words where that came from; hit me up if you would like the half-finished WIP version, or you can wait until I actually finish:
"Tony," Steve says, in warning, glancing up and down the corridor. It's still empty, but it won't remain that way for long. On the one hand, prison breaks have never been Steve's favorite activity. On the other hand, they're definitely better than staying in prison. "A little faster, maybe?"
Tony is elbow-deep in an access panel marked in a language neither of them can read, and Steve knows perfectly well that what he's asking of Tony would be impossible for anyone else, but what Tony is already doing would probably also be impossible for anyone else, so that just means Steve has a whole lot of faith in Tony's ability to do more. Steve's current role in the prison break, apparently, is to provide helpful feedback.
Tony's tongue pokes out of his mouth as he works. "I'm going as fast as I can," he murmurs. He doesn't look up. All his attention is on the circuitry. "I don't know this system at all. And, you understand, I'd like to be cautious when it comes to your brain, Winghead."
"And yours," Steve corrects him.
Tony doesn't seem to hear him. But that could also be because of the very loud emergency siren that's going off.
"And yours," Steve says, a little more sternly.
"Yeah, yeah, and mine." Tony snorts. "Give me a minute. Almost done."
The lights above them are blinking green, on and off. It's the same shade of green that's shining in an unbroken light from the mind-control collar around Tony's neck. Probably the same as the one around his, too, but Steve can't see his own neck.
Steve doesn't know much about how the Kree design their prison ships, but since the blinking overhead lights started two minutes ago, at the same time as the current ear-splitting klaxon that is setting Steve's teeth on edge, Steve's just going to assume that's for them. They've been out of their cell for five minutes. They're probably going to be found soon.
The bad news is that he doesn't have his shield and Tony doesn't have his armor. Though, really, the actual bad news should probably be that they're imprisoned on a Kree spaceship in the first place, but Steve thinks he'd be more okay with their situation if he had his shield with him. His shield improves every situation. The good news is that their gear -- including his shield and Tony's armor -- is all still on the Space Quinjet, which is still docked, so if they can get to the airlock, they're home free. That's the plan.
The other bad news is the mind-control collars. They both have them. The collars aren't coming off no matter how hard Steve pulls, but he also didn't try that hard, on account of not wanting to break Tony's neck. Anyway, the collars are solid, and they're attached firmly. And they definitely control their minds -- or, at least, their actions. Tony said he thought they were based on the same technology used for the Omni-Wave Projector. The good news -- for them, anyway -- is that they're not remote, not in the usual sense, anyway; the Kree seem to need to see them, and be close enough to talk to them and tell them what to do, for the compulsion to actually work. That meant that, when the guards left to change shifts, and therefore left them alone, there was nothing stopping them from breaking out of their cell. And, luckily, the Kree haven't found them again yet, which means that if Tony can get the collars deactivated now, they're golden.
Steve can still feel the compulsion, though. Even though no one is currently compelling him to do anything, it presses down on his mind heavily, like a physical weight. He feels a little sluggish. It's like he has some new base need that's unmet -- like he needs to sleep, or eat, except now the gnawing, nagging feeling is that someone should tell him what to do. It's not urgent. It's just there. Steve resents it. He thinks Tony would tell him it's because he hates being told what to do. Tony would probably be right. But Tony will have them both free, soon enough, and then they won't need to worry about it. Tony will save them.
So the rest of the plot, which you can probably predict if you have ever read anything I have written, is that Tony manages to get Steve's collar off but not his own, and that (surprise!) Tony's mind-control collar is not, in fact, deactivated. It has merely been rebooted and had its controller reassigned. And the new owner of Tony's mind-control collar is (surprise!) Steve. It's a surprise to him too.
Naturally the only way to get the collar off is for them to have sex. But not just any sex! It has to be whatever Steve wants most in the whole world and he has to order Tony to do that! Can Steve divulge his Deepest Darkest Fantasies? What are his Deepest Darkest Fantasies? We all get to find out.
So yeah this is currently 50k of basically zero plot. Merry Stockingmas.

His absolute confidence. Tony’s carelessness regarding his own health. His focus on Steve. Steve’s insistence that Tony’s health is not an afterthought. Not letting it alone until Tony acknowledges him. Not letting Tony get away with ignoring/deflecting.
Even in this snippet it comes through so loud and clear. ;_;
And I love where it’s going. Of course Tony gets Steve free. And Steve’s going to be so torn up when he realizes what’s going on and what he has to do.

Date: 2023-03-01 04:14 am (UTC)I don’t know if you do much watercolor, but my absolute favorite watercolors are Daniel Smith https://danielsmith.com/product/daniel-smith-extra-fine-watercolors/ they have so many gorgeous, rich pigments, and the vibrancy and undertones are fantastic. I want to live inside their phthalo turquoise and sap green.

Date: 2023-03-03 03:56 pm (UTC)Oh, I love watercolor. I’ve been trying to transition to using tube watercolor instead of palettes, for economical reasons. Half pans are so expensive for how much paint is in them 😭. I’ve definitely heard of Daniel Smith but my issue with tubes has always been where to start. That’s how watercolor pan palettes have been getting me all this time — a whole variety conveniently put together for me to tempt me. I will look into the colors you mentioned!
I love crows so much they’re so smart and devious and fun to watch. And that octopus is beautiful, I could watch that all day.
