Comics Steve/Tony: 616, Noir, Bullet Points, 1872, Secret Wars: Civil War, Dark Ages,
Other Fandoms/Ships/Characters: Bucky/Tony in comics (616, Noir, Bullet Points, Sorcerer Supreme Tony, Secret Wars: Civil War, Dark Ages, etc), Bucky/Tony/Steve all together or with Bucky/Tony AND Tony/Steve and Steve&Bucky. Also all of them in MCU. Billy/Teddy (616). I very recently played Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator and like Damien(/Robert).
Likes:angst with a happy ending, Identity Porn/Secret identities, insecurities, pining, falling in love because of character and not looks, Misunderstandings, Knights, Medievalish Fantasy AUs, hurt/comfort, mistaken for a villain, pseudo-villain, power difference that turns out ok. (For Bucky/Tony I also love vampire AUs!)
Dislikes: Holiday themed stuff (winter season is fine), eye gore, very descriptive torture/body horror, major character death (unless temporary), daddy kink, public sex, bathroom kinks, pwp, D/s alternate universe, Tony with just the mustache
Non-fandom related requests/anything else?: I'd love some book (and fic or comic) recs (no guarantees which ones I will read though), especially if fantasy, plot, and queer themes (extra fun if they include my likes!). I also love dinosaurs (especially with feathers).

Bucky knows he's been staring, he just can't stop himself. It's not every day that you meet your childhood hero. If someone had told him this morning that the addition to their unit would be none other than Tony Stark, he would at least have made an effort to shave. As it is, Bucky's wearing the same uniform as yesterday, his face is unwashed, and the stubble on his cheeks is closer to a beard than a five o'clock shadow. He glares at Steve, who's pristine as always, the blue chain mail gleaming, his red boots waxed. Who has the fucking time to wax his boots in the middle of war?
Steve continues explaining the mission plan to Stark, oblivious to Bucky glaring daggers into his back. Stark's listening intently, intelligent eyes scanning the map, fingers tapping on the table. He's something of a genius, Bucky's heard. And, of course, he's the most famous adventurer in the Western world. Bucky has all the Marvels magazines. Not that he's going to tell Stark that. He's already embarrassing himself enough with the ogling. This, keeping his distance, is best. Steve can talk with Stark, and Bucky can be the silent side-kick.
But God is Stark handsome. His dark blue eyes and blinding smile are really doing it for Bucky. Stark's got the rugged good looks of a man of the world, but still carries himself with a certain gentlemanly air that Bucky did not know he would find this attractive. And, worst of all, Stark is almost as tall as Steve, which means that he's at least a few inches taller than Bucky. Bucky could swoon.
He forces himself to stop thinking about it. Stark's off-limits, for obvious reasons. Besides, a man like him, he must have women falling over themselves to spend the night with him. Bucky wouldn't even be able to compete.
He twitches back into the present when Steve calls his name.
"Bucky! Show Mr.Stark where you want him to drop you."
Right. The sniping spots. Guess Bucky won't be able to avoid talking to Stark after all.
Bucky takes the few steps until he's at the table. Stark looks at him, one corner of his mouth quirked up. He offers his hand.
"Hello, Bucky, was it?"
Bucky wills his palm not to sweat as they shake hands.
"James Barnes, actually, but everyone calls me Bucky. Pleased to meet you, Mr. Stark."
Stark's eyes glint.
"Call me Tony. If I'm to believe Cap, I'm going to fly you to a lot of places, so we better get comfortable with each other."
Bucky's traitorous mind shows him a few ways they could get comfortable. He must not have been able to hide the thoughts, because Stark--Tony raises an eyebrow. Bucky forces himself to keep his gaze.
"Looking forward to it."
Tony hasn't let go of his hand yet. His eyes flick up and down, just quickly enough that someone who wasn't looking for signs wouldn't think twice about it, but Bucky's excruciatingly aware of every minute movement of Tony's face. His throat is suddenly dry. Tony's smile widens, turning ever so slightly heated, and he says:
"I'm sure the pleasure will be all mine."
They finish shaking hands, turning back towards the table. Bucky delves into the details of his assignment, explaining what he needs from Tony. They don't touch for the remainder of the briefing session, but the promise of more to come hangs heavy between them.
It's a good thing that Steve doesn't mind fraternization between his team members.

Date: 2023-03-01 12:36 am (UTC)Tony walked down the second-floor hallway as the morning sun shone through the windows, spilling from the bedrooms windows out the doors of the Avengers who still had their doors open -- which was most of them, because the team was a friendly bunch. No secrets among them, really.
Except, of course, for the Winter Soldier. And Tony, not that Tony really counted himself among the Avengers these days -- and, at any rate, the Avengers didn't even know that.
The Winter Soldier had his door half-open, which Tony supposed was a statement in its own way: some secrets, but some openness. Literally.
The sliver of the Winter Soldier's room that Tony could see suggested that the Winter Soldier was unpacking his possessions; the glint of dark metal suggested that his possessions were mostly weapons. He was wearing either the exact same clothes he'd been wearing yesterday or perhaps an identical black outfit. It was probably the same one. The guy didn't seem to have much.
Well, Tony could change that for him, couldn't he?
Tony had stayed the night at the mansion; it was unusual for him, these days. He was trying to tell himself it wasn't because he was intrigued by the Winter Soldier. Unfortunately, he was terrible about lying to himself.
Tony knocked on the doorframe and the Winter Soldier looked up. Tony couldn't tell anything about his expression with the mask on, of course, but his movements were smooth and graceful. Tony hadn't startled him in the slightest, and he almost certainly had already known Tony was there. He probably had excellent observational skills.
The star on his shoulder, Tony was pleased to note, wasn't even smudged.
"Hey, Tony!" The Winter Soldier's voice was bright. Pleased. "I didn't expect to see you so soon."
When was the last time anyone had sounded happy to see Tony again? God, he couldn't even remember. He knew that it had been his conscious choice to hold the entire world at arm's length, but that just made him excruciatingly aware of how much he hungered for a friend.
And besides, Tony just... he liked him. He liked him, already.
Tony held up the camera, letting it dangle by its strap and swing in the air. "I can't stay long," he said, and then he wanted to wince because that had sounded far too needy. Lonely. He coughed. "Actually, I'm here on Avengers business. I make ID cards for the team. Someone probably told you yesterday?"
In fact, someone definitely had. It had been Steve. Tony -- well, Iron Man -- had been in the room at the time. And Tony had repeated it to him.
"Oh!" the Winter Soldier said, in a tone of dawning, apologetic understanding. "Right. They told me I needed to talk to you about that. And then I think you told me. I'm sorry. There's so much going on that it just slipped my mind--"
[That's it! Sorry. But I thought you might like it anyway. I assume there was going to be some photography and UST.]

Date: 2023-03-01 02:22 am (UTC)I wrote something that ticked off some of your identity porn/secret identity, mistaken for a villain, and pseudo-villain prompt! Have fun with this little piece from an AU where Iron Man operates independently from the Avengers as a rogue super!!
---
Tony dipped, turned, and executed a barrel roll to avoid a splatter of green, likely corrosive, goo. He cursed his luck. He had gotten an excellent lead on Hammer Industries and their increasingly likely relationship to stolen Stark tech. Then one of those chaos magicians, sorcerers, Asgardians, the Fantastic Four, or whoever, had opened a portal in the middle of Manhattan to the world of giant Eldritch horror tentacle monsters.
Now the Avengers were on the scene, and Tony had even intercepted some frequencies that told him the X-Men were incoming too. And beyond the official channels, otherworldly monstrosities was an all-hands-on-deck sort of call, even beyond the publicly sanctioned supers. Tony had even spotted Spider-Man and Daredevil outside of their home turf.
Tony felt strongly that Iron Man didn’t count as a super, contrary to public opinion and the news media, but that sill didn’t mean he could exactly spend his time in the chaos lifting blueprints from an evacuated Hammer Industries facility. Not when there was a city to save.
There was a terrible, squelching noise from the direction of the portal, and the grandaddy of all the tentacle monsters. It was easily the size of a skyscraper. A brown, with any number of intense, empty eyes that seared into your soul. Tony had recognized swiftly that Captain Marvel and Thor were better-matched to it, and had turned his attention to the smaller creatures it seemed to be…birthing. Spawning?
The noise continued, and the monster-thing bulged horrifically large behind one eye. Tony was figuring his odds of whether reinforced concrete would provide sufficient coverage, or if he had better odds jetting toward the stratosphere as fast as possible, until he saw a very familiar, colorful design emerging from the brown-grey creature.
Ah, fuck this, Tony thought, and dove straight toward it.
He collided with the interloper just as a series of pops went off behind them, followed by a sickly, squelching noise. Tony wrapped his arm securely around a waist and put his repulsors on full blast.
There was loud cheering from the Avengers over the comm, not that anyone was supposed to know that Iron Man had access to those.
“Fancy meeting you here,” Tony said, depositing his charge on the top of the nearest Stark Industries building.
He had that ridiculous cowl on, but luckily it showed enough to tell to that whoever the Avengers, or government, or both, had convinced to dress up as Captain America had a jawline of chiseled rock, and lips that were so pink and full that it was almost enough to convince Tony this guy was the real deal, with his serum-enhanced mouth.
A mouth that was currently pursed in disapproval.
“Iron Man,” Captain America said. He tapped his communicator, and Tony tuned in as he alerted his team of his safety and location. “I could say the same. I’m pleasantly surprised you’re here, instead of being a thorn in SHIELD’s side.”
“Even I can’t let Captain America die.”
“You can’t let Captain America die, but last time we ran into each other, you left Captain America on the top of the Statue of Liberty.”
“Captain America got down! I’ve saved supervillains who complained less than you did.” Well, not so much the supervillains, but their super henchwomen. Who did anything but complain, for the matter. Tony could put on a literal robot suit of armor, turn off the body language and gestures that were impractical and potentially threatening when he had repulsors in his palms, and still he had to fend off the invitations.
Tony swore that Captain America was holding back a smile. “Thank you, Iron Man. Even if I haven’t missed that you can’t resist getting in any little jab at Stark.”
So, Captain America did notice Tony Stark enough to know which building this was. Tony had mostly tried to stay clear the few times he had met in person. It figured that Captain America kept close tabs on the people who worked with SHIELD. He would have to exercise more care from now on.
“Anthony Stark and his weapons are responsible for a lot of hurt in the world. Airlifting people in need of medical attention so that his billions of dollars can help deal with it is the least I could do.”
Captain America frowned at him. “He already is very involved with city rebuilding efforts, and more beyond that.”
He spoke like he knew Tony, and Tony could definitively say that Captain America did not have the bad luck of that. They had met at a few Avengers events, and only briefly and cordially, at that.
Captain America continued. “And, I think we would both agree that weapons are needed to help keep people safe. The super soldier serum created me, after all. A living weapon.”
Tony still could not dig up information on how SHIELD had recreated the original serum for that matter. “I don’t disagree, Captain. Weapons can be necessary. But a lot of that necessity depends on who has access to them. Let’s just say that there are a lot of bad players out there.”
Captain America frowned at him. “And you think Stark is one of those bad players, and that’s why you target him? That…doesn’t sound like him.”
Tony looked away from him. Even with the stolen tech used in his name, Tony had somehow undeservedly earned the good favor of Captain America. He didn’t know if he felt pride or shame at the idea, that even this man, whether or not he was the real Captain America, could be so hoodwinked by Tony Stark’s charming, magnanimous persona.
“Well, yeah, but you’re supposedly from the Greatest Generation. You fought against Nazis, who were clearly evil. Things aren’t so black-and-white now, with who’s a target and who’s not. Whatever. I’m not here to argue politics with the symbol of American liberty and freedom.”
“Are we really talking politics?” Captain America looked back over the buildings, at the clean-up effort starting up. “Aren’t we both working to protect this city? Protect its people?”
“Look, Captain. All the power to you, but what I do isn’t exactly the most above-ground, legal, sanctioned by the United Nations sort of thing you Avengers are up to.”
“We do have reformed villains on the team. And most people call me Cap.” There was something that sounded dangerously close to amusement in the man’s voice. “People who’ve saved me more than once can call me Cap.”
Tony couldn’t let this go on much longer. “Captain, I have nothing against you. But our priorities are different. You deal with people on a bank robbery spree and evil robots trying to take over New York. I’ll deal with Stark and the people who have their hands in his pie.”
Cap shifted, studying him. “Maybe our priorities aren’t so different, Iron Man. I might have something you’d be interested in, connected to Stark.”
“What do you have? Information?” Studying the expression on Cap’s face, Tony continued. “You sure it’s a good idea to share with me?”
“I’m my own man. And I have a name.” Cap frowned. “Hydra.”
Tony’s blood ran cold. Hydra? Hydra? What the hell would Hydra have to do with Stark Industries tech?
“Stark Industries is not working with Hydra.”
Cap tilted his head at him.
“Tony Stark might be a short-sighted buffoon, but he’s not working with Nazis evil.”
“You’re very certain about that matter, even if you’re so against Stark,” Cap observed. “But, I’m glad we’re on the same page there. I couldn’t believe the connection either, but you never know, with Hydra. But if you’re so sure, then that’s a point in Stark’s favor.”
“What about my opinion do you hold so highly?”
“Well, anyone who can maintain…that,” Cap waved a hand across the Iron Man armor, “has to be some sort of genius. And you seem to know the company very well. Insider knowledge, even. Were you an old employee, perhaps?”
“All of what I’ve acted on is publicly available knowledge. The buildings, business deals, etc.”
“Hydra might not be public knowledge, unlike Hammer. But that doesn’t mean the two have to be mutually exclusive,” Cap said, and there was more to him and his distractingly handsome face than met the eye.
Cap, sensing that he must have struck a nerve, nodded at him as he turned and spoke into his communicator. Seemed like Tony had monopolized too much of his time. He looked back toward Tony. “It might behoove us to keep in touch,” Cap said, reaching out with a hand.
“Captain of the Avengers you might be, but Iron Man is an army of one.” Tony turned away. Justin Hammer was one thing. If Hydra was involved, then he’d have Pepper arrange for an extended business trip. Tony Stark was not going to be accessible for the near future. “Thanks for the tip, Cap.”
The armor was not loud, so there was really no reason to rev his metaphorical engine and drown out anything Cap could have replied as he took off.
There was a crackle in his ear. “You’re welcome,” Tony heard through his bug on the Avengers’ comm line.

Date: 2023-03-01 03:41 am (UTC)- A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles
This is my FAVORITE book I read last year! I put it off for so long because of the cover lol. It gave "this is a book for middle-aged men" vibes, but it was surprisingly funny and was a great adventure even if it takes place in one hotel over decades.
- On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong
It'll take your breath away because of its lyricism and the M/M relationship will break your heart.
- Piranesi by Susanna Clarke
You might like Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell which is much plottier (and bigger), but Piranesi is such a stunning little gem of a book and it'll provide you with comfort and beauty. It's short so it's easy to get through!

The second and third sound steamy, how much would you say they'd fall under a "love/lust at first sight" kind of theme?
(also, the third one says it's a second part, does that have to be read in order?)

Date: 2023-03-04 12:57 am (UTC)A Seditious Affair starts after the main couple have been secretly meeting for semi-anonymous CNC sex for a year, but it's safe to say they had immediate lust (they fucked on their first meeting) and had an immediate connection. Yes, it's the second part of 3 novels (with associated shorter pieces, too) called "Society of Gentlemen," which in-universe is the name a group of queer, mostly rich guys/lords who meet together and protect each other. Each novel/story is about a different couple. They do take place in chronological order, but you absolutely don't need to read them in order, and reading the 1st novel in the series actually spoils a bit of the identity porn fun in Seditious Affair. I read that one first and had no problems whatsoever.
I hope you enjoy them!
