Comics Steve/Tony: 616 and Ults (early canon for either; Hickmanvengers; drinking arcs; Extremis-centric); also love me some freakin' weird canon AUs. Just about anything barring current Iron Man run, really.

Other Fandoms/Ships/Characters: Doom/Strange with strong power and/or morality dynamics between them (Triumph and Torment, Savage Avengers, Secret Wars, or no tie to any specific comic is also great); pretty much any kind of 616 Doom or Strange character study; Batman/Superman (comics or movie-based, and especially with identity porn and/or trust issues); Batman/Ghost-Maker; Witcher TV Geralt/Jaskier; Witcher video games Geralt/Emhyr (again with all the power and morality dynamics); John Constantine/Satan, John Constantine/paranormal beings, John Constantine being his absolute disaster wizard self in just about any ship or regard except a het pairing.

Likes: Pining, yearning, longing, desperation, with any of these eventually being resolved but not too easily; porn with feelings; emotionally cathartic sex with or without kink/power dynamics. Identity porn; monsterfuckery; robotfuckery; undernegotiated kink/questionable dub-con; the costs of magic. Characters with guilt complexes, self-image problems, trauma, whatever other emotional issues, and how any of those impact their relationships.
I still like fluffy things, banter, wordplay, happy superheroing and happy domesticity, etc, but what's really feeding me these days is harder things leading to some kind of catharsis or resolution, something meaningful coming from it even if not a purely "happy" outcome.

Dislikes: Daddy kink; humiliation/degradation; Mpreg; scatplay; underage; kidfic; genderswap; M/F or F/F pairings; anything Avengers Endgame-related; really, most of MCU canon past Avengers 1, even though I still adore MCU Tony, Steve, Bucky, and Strange once surgically removed from most of the actual movies past that point.

Non-fandom related requests/anything else?: I love many things. Birds birds birds birds (just please not the videos of dogs and cats with parrots); art (art you make, the sharing of other fan art or fine art, excellent comics panels/covers); comics edits; podfic/livereads; ficlets/snippets; headcanons; plotbunnies/prompts that are great food for thought even if the stories never get written. Also I am thankful for any heartfully meant greetings or kind words.

I also have a bird-related headcanon for Tony that I think you'll enjoy! I think he was a birdwatcher at boarding school, and may have even had the birding club on his list of extracurriculars. I think that, to this day, he still knows just about every New York state bird by heart and casually identifies them while he's out and about. He just seems like a birding kind of guy to me. ^^

I am very glad to have made your acquaintance in fandom! You are an incredibly kind and generous person and it is a pleasure to know you.

I can't remember if I've ever recced you this fic before, so I'm going to rec it again: Kroki_Refur's Grace Period is a sadly unfinished WIP but even in WIP form it's one of my favorite fics. It's a 616/MCU crossover. It is gen like canon is gen, by which I mean that 616 Tony clearly has a massive thing for his universe's Steve. The premise is that MCU Steve has just woken up from the ice and is trying to acclimate to this strange new future when he slips sideways into 616. Post-Civil War 616. One weird future is very much like another so at first he doesn't realize he's somewhere different, but there's this guy by the name of Tony Stark who says that he, not Nick Fury, is the Director of SHIELD, and he is so happy to see Steve again even if Steve weirdly has a whole bunch of amnesia. Steve has to figure out to break it to him that he's not the Steve that Tony actually wants.

I know you like collecting variant covers, and I just found this review of a book I think you might like, provided you don't already have it. Marvel Comics: The Variant Covers (the same publisher also has a book about DC, too) is a big hardcover art book collecting a selection of what they think the coolest variant covers are. I don't own it so I can't say if it is cool, but I feel like this is a book you might like.

Happy Valentine's day Stargraven!

I'm sorry I don't have much for you, but since you said you liked snippets and weird AUs (that might never get written) I'm sharing one that's been living in my head rent free for months.

It's a Gundam AU where Steve wakes up in the not so distant future, years after Mars colonization. He gets involved with Tony and an emerging war between earth and Mars. As is typical of Gundam a lot of death and trauma happens. Here's a little snippet of it:

"I'm sorry," Tony said meekly.

"For disobeying my direct orders or for trying to execute a suicide mission?"

Neither. Both. He settle with, "For hurting you."

Steve sighed and rubbed his stubble riddled face roughly. Apparently, he had said the wrong thing again. Even so Steve's eyes were soft and filled with something Tony couldn't name when he looked up. "Just do me a favor and never try something like that again."

"Yeah... I don't think that's in my cards anymore. Whether I want it or not."

Steve's eyes slowly --as if reluctantly-- landed on Tony's twitching left hand.

The nerves of his left hand were fried.

There was no way he could pilot a mobile suit with that hand, and there was no telling what connecting to the Bleeding Edge again would do to his already damaged brain. Iron Man's days on the field were finished, and that was probably for the best.

He couldn't think of a more fitting end to Howard's experiment than this broken excuse of a man that that couldn't even perform to the level of a base human. It was so poetic the thought almost made him laugh.

I came across a fine artist last year named Nico Delort and fell head over heels. His black and white scratchboard illustrations are INCREDIBLE. The level of detail and movement is astounding, and every illustration leaves me in awe. He's also on Instagram and Twitter if you're on either platform and want to follow him.
