As a fanfic recommendation, the MCU Stony fic Falling For You fits your interests pretty good. You may have read it though since it's by Festive Ferret, but I really loved it. https://archiveofourown.org/works/19240171/chapters/45750994

For video games... I'm a terrible stick in the mud and end up playing the same games for years: Skyrim, Sims, Stardew, etc.

But, I really loved Subnautica if you haven't gotten into that yet. It's a survival crafting game that does a fantastic job of making you feel very small in a world of things that are huge and will eat you. It's not a horror game but it really taps into the monkey part of your brain that fears the unknown, depths, and wide open expanses devoid of cover.

Thomas Was Alone is a cheap and surprisingly compelling game in which all the characters are geometric shapes but they 100% are characters with personalities and stories.

And if you're interested in a casual, soothing game, DorfRomantik is a really pretty landscape tile matching game.

I can't tell you how much time I've spent on the sims and Stardew Valley, probably more than I should so no judging. lol
DorfRomantik looks exactly like the kind of game I could spend hours on, so hopefully it'll dethrone civilization 6. xD

Also thanks for the rec. I'm pretty sure I've read most of Festive Ferret's ults but not the MCU. I'm actually not very good at picking up MCU fics (because until this year I'd only watched a handful of the movies) so I'm actually happy when people rec me MCU fics!

There's so much of it and it can be overwhelming.

That's true. It's just movie after movie after tv series. But that fic only uses the first Avengers movie, the first two Iron Man, and the first Captain America. So, it's right down at the start of the MCU and it's not even super cannon dependent. It diverges from the MCU cannon for most of Steve's experiences post-ice.
