A few romance wlw book recs:
- Once Ghosted, Twice Shy by Alyssa Cole. This is a novella that’s basically book 2.5 of a romance trilogy. The main novels are m/f, contemporary, and have an Afrofuturism vibe. It’s been awhile since I read this series, but I think this book should make sense without reading the others.
- How to Find a Princess, also by Alyssa Cole, hasn’t been released yet but I’m really excited about it! This one is a full-length romance novel billed as a “queer Anastasia retelling.” Alyssa Cole is one of my all-time fave romance writers and I’m really excited she’s writing more wlw.
- One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston (who wrote Red, White, and Royal Blue) hasn’t been released yet either, but a couple of my friends got advanced reader copies and absolutely adored it. Also, TIME TRAVEL.
- Citywide by Santino Hassell. I haven’t read this one yet either, but I’ve read other books by this author, which I adored, and my bff (who I get all my romance recs from) really liked this one. It’s 3 (I think novella-length?) romance stories collected in one book, and only one of them is wlw.
- Mrs. Martin’s Incomparable Adventure by Courtney Milan is another novella that’s part of a longer series (the main novels are m/f, and there’s a m/m novella too).

Two days after the Illuminati meeting, there’s an Avengers meeting. For all that Steve promised they wouldn’t be working together, Tony can’t help but worry—well, there’s worry involved—that he’ll be there, too, like how he ended up working with the team against the Hood and then joining the Illuminati. But he isn’t.
Carol and Jess are late, which makes Maria scowl, and then halfway through the proceedings a big tawny dog ambles into the room, walks in a circle, and lays down, which makes Maria scowl even more. At least she’s not looking at Tony that way.
When the meeting’s over, before Maria dismisses everyone to tell off Carol and Jess, Logan nods at the dog and says, “What’s he doing here, anyway?”
“Don’t worry about him,” Maria says, though she’s glaring at the dog. He lazily opens piercing white-blue eyes before letting them fall closed again. “He’s very well-trained.” This she says pointedly, almost like she’s trying to remind the dog of this fact. He ignores her.

Dirig!! The winged Steve is gorgeous??? I really really love the interpretation of his wings like tree branches (reminding me of his like a tree abeside the river of truth line!) I love the detail and how it actually sort of gives me a brittle impression? It's amazing and I'm going to not stop thinking about this now *stows away idea for future fic!!*

Thank you for the book recs! I looked up some of the synopses and they look lovely! I'm definitely keeping an eye out for One Last Stop :)
