Happy Valentine's Day, magic!<3 Here's a Hickmanvengers fic present for you: The Burning of Flowers

Lesbian/WLW recs:
- The Half of It on Netflix! This movie isn't perfect, but it's sweet and it features a romance between two WOC. It's directed and written by a Chinese American woman, and the protagonist is a Chinese American teen girl. I especially love that this is a story that shows different kinds of love—self-love, love between family, love between friends, and romantic love—and emphasizes that they're just as important as romantic love! Aside from the Cyrano de Bergerac premise, I loved the way it dealt with Ellie's loneliness as both a lesbian and Asian immigrant and the ending is very fulfilling, imo. 

- Killing Eve is very much enemies-to-lovers. I think people debate whether this counts as queerbaiting or not, but at least one of the main characters is bi and the whole story examines the mutual attraction between them and how that changes them and affects their relationships. Lots of UST and lots of cat-and-mouse suspenseful fun, at least for the first two seasons. Both Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer are brilliant in it as is Fiona Shaw.

Animals:
- little kittens small enough to fit in people's hands

- a golden retriever who wants the attention of her owner

- very round bird on ice

Thank you for the recs!! I haven't watched either of your recs but have heard great things about bot, and they definitely cover the spectrum of fluff to messed up stuff which is great!

The kitten photos are adorable and the dog video made me smile so much. Also the bird is obviously the most important player on the ice ;;;;;
