I'm very much into gaming: RPGs, grand strategy (like CKIII), and management games. Some recent favorites have been Hades, Spiritfarer, and Six Ages: Ride Like the Wind. My all-time favorites are Civilization II and Sims 2.

I like baking with metric measurements! I love teas and cats. To complete the stereotype, I do bullet journaling, collect postcards, and Tarot.

My favorite movie is Moulin Rouge because I like garish, over-stylized musicals a whole damn lot. I love the Baroque (Spanish one!) and I don't like the Romantics. I like miniature roses and jasmines.

I love purple to an unhealthy degree. I like vintage maps and 19th Century pulp novels. I enjoy reading about interior decor.

Your name fits you perfectly. Well, the sparkling part, and the "sadistic" not as in mean, but just in the sense of being sweet with also a hint of a sharp, contrary edge. :)

So here I am sending you a little greeting, a little stuff for the stocking. And looking at your likes list, I see... purple to an unhealthy degree. And for some reason, the image popped into my head of Steve and Tony trying on Hawkeye's purple uniform. I can just see the Hawkeye mask superimposed over the pointy gold parts of the early Iron Man helmet! And for Steve, it would definitely be "purple to an unhealthy degree" because while Clint is buff, and even an inch taller, his uniform would definitely be way too tight on Steve. Unhealthy constriction, for sure!

Hey Sparkle! I just wanted to say that you are a great person and a great writer and it cheers me up whenever I read your fic!

I too like 4X/grand strategy games although honestly I don't think I can rec anything to you that you haven't already played -- I mean, if you like the CK series you must have tried Stellaris, right? Right? If not, I think you would probably enjoy Stellaris. Also, depending on the kind of RPGs you like, my favorite JRPG series is Shin Megami Tensei, and there's a new one coming out soon. The one everyone else likes best is Nocturne (a remake of that is coming out soon) but I think honestly one of my favorites in the series was Devil Survivor, a TRPG.

I ... actually haven't played Stellaris! I think I saw some very early reviews and then lost track of it. So it's been added to the Wishlist. :D I'm really looking forward new ShinMegaTen but I haven't played any yet ooops. Only Persona 5.

And - you didn’t ask for book recs, but since you said you liked 19th century pulp novels I just have to make sure you’ve heard of K.J. Charles. She’s one of my favorite romance authors and she has a few stand-alones and series that are based on pulp novels, all historical, and nearly all m/m. A number of them are early 20th century, but several are 19th century -- The Henchmen of Zenda, for example, is a retelling of The Prisoner of Zenda! Lilywhite Boys is late 19th century, with lots of swashbuckling and intrigue. The lead of the first one, Any Old Diamonds, is in part inspired by J. C. Leyendecker.
Think of England takes place in 1902, but the main character, Archie Curtis, is the nephew of Sir Henry Curtis from Sir H. Rider Haggard’s King Solomon's Mines. Archie is big, blond, heroic, old-fashioned, painfully straightforward, and a former army captain. His hobbies include being sad and punching assholes. The love interest, Daniel Da Silva, is dark-haired, quick-witted, anything but straightforward, and creates personas and masks to hide his true intentions and purposes. His hobbies include embarrassing homophobes and trying to get people to hate and/or underestimate him. They encounter each other because they both think that a rich weapons manufacturer is up to no good. So, yeah, it’s a Steve/Tony AU and takes place in the same world as a 19th century pulp novel. (I mean, it’s probably not intentionally Steve/Tony. From her other books, I think that she started out as a Harry/Draco shipper.) K.J. Charles really went “my OC is Sir Henry’s nephew and he’s HOT and BIG and QUEER and he has ADVENTURES” and then wrote and published a romance novel about it.

My favorite JRPG ever is Valkyrie Profile which I think you would also like since I think we have similar tastes in the D R A M A. Also the rest of the Fire Emblem games :P I think good ones to jump onto after FE3H are Fire Emblem 7 (released as just Fire Emblem in NA), Sacred Stones, Path of Radiance, or Awakening!
