Other Fandoms/Ships/Characters: My favourite tag list on AO3 has like 20 items on it ^^°, so you'll get the short version: Obi-Wan Kenobi/Qui-Gon Jinn, Hannibal Lecter/Will Graham, Dorian Pavus/Cullen Rutherford, James T. Kirk/Spock (TOS), Arthur/Eames (It's a classic!) and Bruce Wayne/Clark Kent (there is not enough Superbat in this world)
Likes: I will devour anything Hurt/comfort, ANYTHING, especially if it's a little plotty. I like angst with a happy ending, explicit stories and Kink (BDSM, Subspace/-drop, AUs etc), canon fix-its, getting together, and my favourite boys being badass in dangerous situations. "Oh no there was only one bed!", "We are stranded here and it's sooo cold! However will we stay warm?!"- I am such a sucker for tropes it's embarrassing. I also have a thing for monsters, Capwolf or the Ults!vampire storyline give me LIFE, especially if it's angsty and a little bit violent <3
Dislikes: Infidelity, Hurt without comfort, major character death and unhappy endings (I'm a wuss I know XD). Mpreg, A/B/O, and kidfic usually squick me out, although there have been rare exceptions.
Non-fandom related requests/anything else?: I like all animals, astronomy and weird science stuff! Do with this information what you will :3

It's a Canon Divergent AU where Spock and Kirk meet while Kirk is still on the Farragut. It has so much hurt/comfort, sharing a bed, the boys in mortal peril, learning to work with each other, and eventually getting together. It's one of my all time favorite Spock/Kirk fics.

Since you like science I'm also here to recommend Dr Stone. I would describe it as a combination of survival Minecraft and Mythbusters in Anime format. I know anime is not for everyone, but I think this one is worth checking out for anyone that likes science and technology. They go over how most of the things we use work and how one would be able to make them from scratch in the Stone age. It's really fun!

Some of them aren't being captured for the "first" time, some may be larval forms of creatures we've already seen, etc. etc., but they're all definitely very cool and I hope you enjoy them! There's also a beautiful, short game called "Abzu" that lets you take control of this little robot diving creature and explore a wasteland of an ocean, restoring health to it little by little while you discover new creatures, both modern and ancient. It's gorgeous, and you might like it if you're interested in casual games!

hi pywren! i hope the holidays and new year have been great and cozy to you. you mentioned liking weird science stuff, so here are some fun recs for things that i've enjoyed recently:

- ologies with alie ward is a podcast asking experts about different -ology expertise to talk about their knowledge, what they love about what they do and answering some common questions from people

- connected on netflix (link to trailer) hosted by latif nasser is a documentary series exploring how things in the universe are connected to each other in surprising delightful ways

- entangled life by merlin sheldrake is a book exploring the extraordinary existence of fungi, their uses, their life cycle, how they are the largest organisms on the planet, etc.

- veritasium is a yt science channel that explores really interesting technologies, phenomenon and hypothesis. including stuff on: particle physics impacting gaming glitches and asking can you swim in shade balls and why does time seem to speed up as we get older?
