Movie recs: I don't think there's a point to gush at you about Encanto lol, so I'll dig. There's a Russian superhero movie called Black Lightning where a kid gets a flying car and uses it to fight crime and stop a super villian set to destroy Moscow. It's wonderful and awful and I love it. I don't know if you like super heroes to the degree that you'll enjoy it, but I loved it enough that I had to buy it.
Have you see Mitchels Vs the Machines? It's super fun.
Have you seen the series Better Off Ted? It's insane and fun. Basically it's an office comedy in which the office is the R&D for a company that is clearly a comic book villain organization. Think The Office set in an AIM subsidiary. In the first episode, they have to figure out how to weaponize pumpkins. Because they have a deal with a small country that doesn't get enough respect from it's neighbors... but has a lot of pumpkins.
